Good Order Stuff
Like other churches and organizations we have guidelines for our work together (including Constitutions and Canons of our Diocese and our national Church); we keep records of our meetings, and lists of projects and hopes for the future and more. Here are links to this "stuff" for keeping good order.
What's a Vicar? What's a Verger? These are two questions recently asked of folks at St. Hugh.
We try very hard to keep our "churchy" jargon to a minimum. However, if you have questions about something you heard, or something you wondered, here is a good starting point for answers: A Glossary of (Episcopal) Terms. What's an Acolyte? What is Holy Eucharist? What is Lent? Hundreds of questions and hundreds of answers. Check it out.
Each letter has it's own page. Once on the page scroll through the entries until you find the one you want. Click and read. Simple. Then, you may want to tackle the acronyms.
