In prayer and worship we enter into a sacred dialogue with our God. Whether praying in private or praying in community we seek to glorify God and open the way to wholeness and health for others by our efforts. We have much to teach others, we have much to learn from others, like you. Please join in our faith pilgrimage.
Every Sunday we gather for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 10:00 am. Everyone is welcome at St. Hugh's as we share God's Word in our readings and homily. Everyone is equally welcome to share Holy Communion in accordance with the invitation of Jesus: "Take, eat … Take, drink … Do this for the remembrance of me."
On the first and third Wednesdays of the month we gather to listen to the Word, pray for healing, give thanks and share Holy Communion. Our Wednesday Service of Healing Prayers and Holy Communion begins at 10:00 am. All are welcome, you don't need to be Episcopalian to receive God's healing grace. Come join us this Wednesday to pray for healing for yourself or others; come share in Holy Communion with God and neighbor.
Our next Taizé Service will be on November 23, 2016 beginning at 6:00 pm. Come join us for this unique worship experience. Our plan is to offer a Taizé Service on the third Wednesday of the month throughout the year.
In a Taizé Service simple chants that repeat are used to draw the community together in a prayerful response to the Presence of God with us. Veni Sancte Spiritus (Come Holy Spirit) is one such chant. Enjoy.
